16 HD channels in UPC digital offer

UPC has prepared a new digital television offer in which all packages include HD channels. On 12th of April seven new HD channels joined UPC digital TV and new packages were introduced - Select HD, MAX HD and Super HD. In all of the UPC Digital TV packages operator offers 16 HD channels and new ones will appear very soon.

New UPC Digital TV offer consists of four basic HD packages, two Multiroom HD packages and Super HD package consisting of 10 channels in high definition. Basic packages include such HD channels as: TVN HD, Polsat HD and TVS HD. Super HD package includes seven new HD channels: MTV Networks HD, Fashion TV HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, myZen.tv HD, Mezzo Live HD, Fox Life HD, Sundance Channel HD and three HD channels already available in the Select and Max packages - National Geographic Channel HD, History HD and Polsat Sport HD. Premium digital packages are available with 3 HD channels: Canal+ Film HD and Canal+ Sport HD (Canal+ pack) and HBO HD (HBO and MAXPAK package).

UPC also offers a new Mediabox HD decoder. It provides the possibility of reception of both standard and high definition (HD). A wide range of movies in HD is also available in UPC on-demand service. Currently, this service offers more than 240 movies, including more than 38 feature films and documentaries available in high definition.
