Multimedia Polska revenues increased in the fourth quarter of 2009 by 10% compared to the corresponding period in 2008, reaching 137.9 mln PLN. For the first time in the company's history annual sales exceeded 0.5 bln PLN. In the fourth quarter of 2009 Multimedia Polska recorded adjusted EBITDA of 72.2 mln PLN or 16% higher than in the corresponding period last year.

Increase of adjusted EBITDA was faster than increase of revenues and it is a result of keeping operating costs in check. In the fourth quarter of 2009 monthly revenue generating unit (RGU) totaled 18.8 PLN. Excluding one-off events this rate would be 17.5 PLN in the fourth quarter. Number of RGU increased at the end of the year by almost 10% to 1.235 mln compared to the end of 2008.

Average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) increased during the year by 4.4 PLN per month to 65.9 PLN in the fourth quarter of 2009. Churn rate was kept under control. There has been very low churn in all segments. The value of revenues in digital television sector in 2009 amounted to 263.3 mln PLN (over 13% more than last year). In the fourth quarter revenues amounted to 68.8 mln PLN and were also 13% higher than in 2008. At the end of 2009 the company had nearly 700.000 television RGUs, including more than 106.000 users of digital television in the DTV and IPTV technology. Digital television user base has increased by over 40% during the year.
