DVB-T multiplex I without commercial channels

On 21st of December 2009 a meeting will take place about the first DVB-T multiplex and its reservation for Polish Television (TVP) as well as about relocating such channels as Polsat, TVN, TV Puls and TV4 to second DVB-T multiplex. This project has the support of National Broadcasting Council, TVP and commercial broadcasters.

If there is agreement by all parties, first and second multiplex will be launched at the same time in early 2010. As proposed by the commercial broadcasters, first multiplex should include some new players besides TVP1, TVP2 and TVP INFO.

According to the original plans, the first multiplex should offer TVP1, TVP2, TVP INFO, Polsat, TVN, TV4 and TV Puls. Second multiplex should offer stations of broadcasters chosen in the contest, while the third multiplex should belong to TVP.
