Euro 2008 only on Polsat

Polsat Television has oficially announced that every Euro 2008 football match will be available exclusively on Polsat Sport Extra, Polsat Sport HD and on Polsat (chosen matches). TVP will not be broadcasting even one game.

Original Polsat will transmit every match of Polish representation as well as opening and final game of Euro 2008. SD signal of Polsat Sport Extra will be available on every Cyfrowy Polsat decoder or on dedicated CI modules.

High definition transmission of Polsat Sport HD (channel number 5 in Cyfrowy Polsat) provides HD signal with no additional fees to every subscriber with Samsung HD decoder.

The conflict between Polish Television (TVP) and Polsat has been continued for many weeks. Polsat offered TVP the rights to 15 out of 31 footbal games, including matches of Polish representation. However, TVP representative said that the price Polsat asks is definitely too high.
