TVP Historia produces materials in HD

TVP Historia, a thematic channel of Polish public television has began production of materials in high definition. The first programme in this standard is station\'s series \"Notacje\" that presents modern history. Programmes produced in HD will probably be also available on TVP HD channel.

The aim of the project is to create programmes with a mixture of interviews and archived materials, which are portraits of people known to the public, that could be used in future TVP productions. TVP Historia was launched on 3rd of May 2007 and is based on its own productions and TVP archives.

Free-to-air channel TVP Historia is available on Astra 19,2E satellite, 10.773 GHz, pol. H, SR 22000, FEC 5/6. What is interesting this channel hasn't yet joined any of three largest satellite platforms in Poland.
